Darkness what is it?

Wise men say - "Ah darkness! tis' where the illiterate men hide their face!",

Brave men say - "Oh darkness! tis' the coward's grave.",

Many men and many meanings to darkness,

Some say tis' ignorance and some say tis' peace,

I say different - I say tis' solitude and bliss,

Oh! how could anyone miss this?

Darkness is like that mother who accepts her child despite all its faults,

Darkness doesn't question your wrongs and rights,

It embraces you the way you are,

Darkness - when you spend time in it you learn yourself better,

In it you learn your mistakes and praise the good deeds you've done,

Tis' the mind's darkness that kills,

Negative thinking is mind's darkness,

Wise men and brave men say that and I say this,

But! still; the question remains for many,

What is darkness?

What is the mystery in it?
