Take me by the hand and lead the way,
Be my light on a dark path,
I'm not lost, but confused,
The world is always in a rush,
Everything is a blur,
I'm, not lazy to find my way,
But, I do feel insecure at times,
You stand there in front of m like a ray of hope,
Help me, before I fall into,
The pothole of indifference,
I'm slowly beginning to "not-care-a-damn",
I was not like this once upon a time,
You remember me eager and optimistic,
Don't you?
That spark, that fire is slowly dying,
In this world of pretence,
Sincerity waging a lost battle,
And I'm losing hope,
Help me, I'm scared of this new darkness,
I want to care again,
I want to hope again.
